The brief was to research an existing artist and design a CD cover for a fictional album. The cover included front and back, and had to remain in line with the artist's image. I chose to design a cover for the Aphex Twin.
The idea generated around the somewhat twisted imagery that one tends to find on most of the Aphex Twin's album covers. Without going too overboard, the image I found of an embryo striking a pose reminiscent of a DJ poised above the decks seemed an appropriate image to use as a starting point to develop a theme for the CD that suited the artist's previous work.
